July 17, 2006 – To Southern Ontario

with No Comments

We left BC on July 17 and traveled to Southern Ontario to visit family for two weeks. The first week was spent with the Regier side of the family in Waterloo. We had a great time together and even managed to get in a few camping days on Lake Huron.

The second week was with Mary’s side of the family, most of which was spent at the cottage on Cawaja Beach (part of Notawasaga Bay which is part of Georgian Bay which is part of Lake Huron). Again, we had a great time relaxing and connecting with family members that we hadn’t seen in a while.

At this point in time, it still feels that we haven’t really begun our adventure – we’re simply on a summer vacation visiting family. As I write this, we’re hanging out in Oakville with Dave, Cathy and Lucas. Tomorrow, we run the last few errands and we’re off to the airport very early Tuesday morning.

So, after this entry, we’re down to a sporadic timetable for entries and updates.
